Answer:  ECASO™   (Enhanced Cooling After System Off) Technology is a patent pending  technology by ePower Technology.  ECASO™ Technology is integrated into our power supply and used to cool the CPU and the system after a soft shutdown for a period of time.  The temperature of the power supply and other computer parts such as the CPU would raise significantly after a soft shutdown because all the fans stopped rotating at the same time.  The heat energy within the computer system could not dissipate fast enough and sometimes cause the component temperature to raise up to 20°C.  This excessive heat could sometimes killed the system and the system would not power back on again.  With ECASO™ Technology the excessive heat in the computer case is dissipated through the power supply controlled fans after a soft shutdown for some time after a soft shutdown.  Eventually all the fans will shut off automatically after the heat dissipation process is completed.  Currently the ECASO™ Technology is available on selected models only.
